What
personal data we collect and why we collect it
This application does not collect
any personal information about visitors, in order to use this application is
necessary that the visitor becomes a user, therefore opens an account into our
system.
What information do we collect from
the user:
– personal data, such as name and
surname, email address, personal account preferences and technical data, such
as information about cookies and API sessions;
- EVERY personal data information is provided from
Facebook via API integration;
- Geo positioning is provided from the mobile device only
if granted explicitly by the user;
- The user can decide to integrate Instagram account and
shows his/her own pictures on our application, the Instagram pictures are
not stored in our system;
- No sensitive personal data is collected.
Only after explicit consent, the
application allows the visitor to open an account on our system.
The personal profile is build up
automatically querying Facebook profile using API.
We need to collect the data listed
in order to build a profile into the application.
The personal profile is kept in our
system until the user do not decide to delete his/her profile.
The profile deletion is possible as self service of the user in any moment.
Personal data generated from
technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and
third-party embeds are stored in our system as part of the functionality.
Comments
and Chats
When visitors leave comments on the
site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP
address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The history of comments and chat is
stored in our system.
ABOUT THE CHAT – We are passing secure Authentication key (32 characters random
string which includes numbers, characters etc) of chat users while do chatting
on the application. And Chat messages are stored in the ‘BLOB’ format in the
database, so it is not visible to others
Media
The user is solely responsible for
the type of images that are published and whether the latter contain extensive
information (such as the EXIF GPS tag) or violate the public decorum.
All voluntary uploaded files and
information are publicly accessible.
Contact
forms
In order to provide the best
support, we store all the information provided and we keep them until the issue
is solved.
The system do not use the information submitted for marketing purposes.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site

when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

The data are not shared externally
with any organization or company and will be only used for improving our
platform or for marketing activities related to UpTo.
How
long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment
and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and
approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a
moderation queue.
For users that register on our
website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their
user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at
any time (except they cannot change their username). The administrators can also
see and edit that information in order to support you.
Your personal data are stored in our
system until you keep the account in our system.
Contact form data are kept for 6
months.
We keep analytics data for 1 year.
Customer purchase records for ten
years.
What
rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site,
or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the
personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This
does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or
security purposes.
Where we send your data
All your data is stored and
elaborated into European Union, data is safeguarded to European data protection
standards. We do not transmit your plain data to other services. We do not
transfer your data outside EU.

How
we protect your data
We
are passing secure Authentication key while accessing and retrieving data from
the server. Without Authentication key no one can retrieve or get data from the
server using any API.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In case of data breach we will
notify to the final user within 2 business day asking to change the system
password.
Once evaluated the real impact on the system and on data we will be back to the
customer informing with best action to perform in order to avoid further issues.
What third parties we receive data from
We receive data from Facebook
regarding user’s identity. This integration follows Facebooks rules about API
integration. The user can limit the visibility of Facebook account from
Facebook application/website.
What
automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
The website/application does not
provide any service which includes automated decision making.
